Slava Epelman

Biography

Dr. Epelman holds the Loretta Rogers Chair in Immuno-Bioengineering at UHN. His research program focuses on the role of immune cells and immune-mediated pathways in cardiac tissue injury, repair, and regeneration. He has many high-impact publications, receipt of both competitive operating and salary awards, a strong track record of research supervision. He leads the cardiovascular research group at the Toronto General Research Institute, UHN.
