Sean Balmain

Biography

Dr. Balmain’s excellence as a teacher has earned him several awards and honours, including the Wightman-Berris Academy Award for Individual Teaching Excellence in Postgraduate Education, the Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching for Cardiology at UHN/Sinai, and the Robert J. Chisholm Award from the Division of Cardiology for being a supervisor “who has had a positive impact on training”. He has organized several novel educational experiences for cardiology trainees, including procedure simulation sessions and ‘training boot camps’.
