Dennis Kim is a Hematologist at Princess Margaret Hospital, where he is the Medical Director of the Orsino Cell Processing Laboratory. Dr. Kim’s research focuses on the development of genomics-based biomarkers in leukemia and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT) using next-generation sequencing (NGS). This research program has 3 main domains: genomics in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), treatment-free remission in CML therapy, and genomic-based monitoring in leukemia/HCT. Dr. Kim is a founding member of the international CML Foundation (iCMLf) Treatment-Free Remission Alliance which includes 14 international CML centers. He has been Chair of the Orsino Cell Processing Lab Governance Committee and a member of the Research Ethics Board at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
