Dante Morra

Biography

Dr. Morra is Chief of Staff and President of Trillium Health Partners Solutions where he is responsible for the leadership of the Research Institute, the Canhealth program and market services operation.

Dr. Morra has made substantial contributions to teaching and education at all learner levels, but most notably at the undergraduate MD level. In 2012, he developed and implemented a curriculum for medical students on management and leadership, which he continues to deliver. He received the prestigious Aiken’s Award from the Faculty of Medicine for this work in 2012. In 2014, Dr. Morra was integral to faculty development to enable creation of a clinical teaching unit at Trillium Health Partners to accommodate the MD trainees sited at the newly established Mississauga Academy. He has been awarded the Dean A Chute (Silver Shovel) Award, which is considered the highest undergraduate medical school teaching honour, five times by the undergraduate medical students.
