Christine Elser

Biography

Dr. Elser is a medical oncologist whose clinical focus is on the management of women with breast cancer. Having identified clinical and knowledge gaps in the area of breast cancer in pregnancy, she secured funding with an obstetrician colleague to generate e-modules for oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals on cancer treatment during pregnancy. Dr. Elser developed and coordinates a medical oncology rotation for surgical oncology fellows, and provides an interdisciplinary breast oncology selective for medical students.
